Hi! My name is Max Elliot and I’m in my second year at Boston University, majoring in Business with a concentration in Marketing and a minor in Advertising.
Sports have always been a huge part of my life (lifelong New York fan as you can tell— yes it has been rough). Even when I’m not playing, I’ve found a way to stay close to the game through creative work. I discovered a passion for storytelling through design, photography, and video — turning game moments into content that connects with fans.
I started graphic design in January 2020 and picked up photography and videography in 2023. Since then, I’ve been working as a Creative Video Producer for Harvard Athletics and a freelance photographer for BU Athletics. Last summer, I was the creative student assistant for Vanderbilt Football, where I created everything from recruiting graphics to fall camp video and photo content.
Outside of sports content, I’m interested in branding, advertising, digital marketing, and the way storytelling can change the way people see sports.
When I’m not designing or out shooting content, I’m probably listening to country music. I’m always building my Spotify playlist and going to every country concert that I can in Boston. Music is a big part of my everyday life and is what gets me through long editing sessions.
